Working and studying to receive this certificate was such a worthy and meaningful opportunity. Not only this experience taught me how to code more efficiently and sophisticatedly, but also pointed up the hardships of digitally marginalized groups.

 

It may seem ironic, but I was able to understand those who aren't fluent with digital platforms by extensively learning about them. Struggling to resolve many technical issues that I faced while adjusting to a complex program and getting my hands used to different codes, I realized that the older generation would probably need much more assistance when using such programs.

 

Having this in mind, I started to ponder about how I―a person who is familiar with digital technologies―could design programs and platforms that help the digitally marginalized adjust to rapidly changing conditions quickly and independently.

 

Therefrom, I learned so much from what may seem like a simple certificate on the outside. Based on what I've learned both skillfully and mindset-wise, I look forward to continuing my studies in programming and eventually utilizing the ability of mine for our society, especially for the marginalized.
